I had no desire to shoot the first six weeks of lockdown having lost what I enjoy most, connecting with and making portraits of different people. Then I realized I hadn't lost anything. I had all the different people I needed in my quarantine partner, my wife. And together we started creating them in our little New York apartment.

At first it wasn’t Wife During Quarantine, or even a fully formed idea of a personal project, it was just being creative and doing something, anything, other than thinking about the pandemic. But now, sixty-seven images and a pandemic later, Wife During Quarantine is a book and has had images honored by the international Photography Awards, American Photography, Communication Arts, and American Photographic Artists.
